If I could control my sands of time;
I would never have crossed that line.
From who I was to who I've become;
Tripping over my trail of mistakes' crumbs.
It's true what they say about Karma;
It comes back around and causes worse drama.
Remorse plays it's role as well;
Killing you from the inside, causing you hell.
Karma eating me out from my conscience to my mind;
Remorse burning my heart that was often unkind.
That heart of stone melted out through my eyes;
Tears of remorse burning with my cries.
If I could control my sands of time;
I would never have crossed that line.
