Hey guys, just updating with yet another spotlight poem, hope yuh dig it :)
M|E|D|I|O|C|R|I|T|Y
Thought I was good enough;
Thought I could stay tough.
Thought I had what it takes;
To go full speed and forget the brakes.
The only obstruction on my sparkled road;
Was you and your destruct mode.
It burnt out the rubber of my dreams;
Ripped apart my hopes by the seams.
Made me settle for mediocrity;
And filled me with insecurity.
Stuck a bullet in my wishes;
Bombed up my inhibitions.
Broke and belittled my heart;
Took my soul and threw it with a dart.
Flushed all that I aspired to be;
And left me with mediocrity.
